What is the difference between Die Temp. Controller and Die high pressure point cooling machine?

In the process of die casting, die temperature is a very important process parameter, which affects casting quality, production efficiency and casting cost.  Our common die casting mold temperature controller is die temperature control machine, control the die casting molding before, in the stage of temperature, and die casting after the stage of temperature control is mainly cooling, the current temperature control equipment optional high pressure point cooling machine.  I have a certain understanding of the mold temperature machine, but what is the high pressure point cooling machine?  What is the difference between die casting temperature machine and die casting high pressure point cooling machine?  Let’s take a look.

What is high pressure point cooling machine ?
High pressure point cooling machine also called Die-casting mould point cooling machine , with the help of the form of intermittent controllable cooling, the temperature change of die casting mold can be controlled, and the range of temperature change of die casting mold can be controlled significantly.

High-pressure point cooling machine consists of pressure pump, inlet pipe, water shunt, flow controller, temperature monitor, outlet pipe, PLC controller.  One end of the pressure pump is connected with the water inlet pipe, the other end is connected with the water inlet shunt;  The inlet shunt is connected with the flow controller;  Flow controller through the pipeline connection mold;  Mold connection temperature monitor;  The temperature monitor is connected to the outlet shunt through the pipeline;  The other end of the outlet shunt is connected with the outlet pipe;  A PLC controller is set between the flow controller and the temperature monitor to form a circulating cooling control system.

High pressure point cooling machine can solve the existing problems: die casting mold cooling equipment can not reach the constant temperature effect, water pressure can not be adjusted, water pipe blockage or leakage is not easy to find.

Difference between die casting temperature machine and die casting high pressure point cooling machine
1.The main function of die casting mould temperature machine is to heat and stabilize the die casting mould, including heating and cooling two processes.  Die casting high pressure point cooling machine is used to cool die casting products, control the solidification time, only cooling cooling process.
2. Die casting mold temperature machine is to heat and stabilize the whole die casting mold, to ensure that the temperature of die casting molding to meet the process requirements, to ensure the quality of molding.  Point cooling machine is to control the local temperature of the die casting mold to eliminate the local overheating of the cavity or core and avoid the heat shrinkage or chap defects of the die casting parts.
3.Die casting mould temperature machine use heat conduction oil as heat transfer medium, do not use booster pump.  Point cooling machine uses pure water as heat transfer medium, uses high pressure booster pump, cutting pressure can be adjusted intelligently.
4.Die casting mold temperature machine generally adopts imported microcomputer as the control system to accurately adjust the temperature by heating and cooling, and to control the temperature of the overall mold.  High pressure point cooling machine adopts PLC control, large size touch screen man-machine interface simple operation, single point and single control, can provide 80 water temperature control.
5.Die casting mold temperature machine can only achieve the effect of mold heating and heat stabilization, and basically has no effect on the cooling of mold forming later stage.  The high pressure point cooling machine has no contribution to the temperature rise and stable heat of the mold, and keeps the temperature constant in the late stage of mold forming to avoid the sudden loss of mold temperature.

Through the above comparison between the die casting temperature machine and the high pressure point cooling machine, we can clearly see that there are obvious differences in the function, structure and function of the two, respectively acting on the heating and cooling process of die casting, the purpose is to ensure the temperature stability of die casting, protect the die, prolong the service life of the die.  In practical application, the effect of die casting temperature machine and high pressure point cooling machine is excellent, but the cost is relatively high, ordinary die casting process generally only use die casting temperature machine.
